Every other client in my chair has the same problem.   Dry hair, dry hair ends, hair loss. My clients think the cause is hair color or genetics.  But the real reason is the HAIR SHAMPOO. Shampoo dries hair is a fact. It doesn't matter if it is natural professional shampoo, or shampoo from a store, with or without sulfates.   All shampoos dry the hair. And that's why. The natural scalp oil that makes our hair look dirty is actually a powerful defense. Scalp oil protects the skin from germs and the ends of the hair from breakage. To prevent the hair from breaking, the scalp oil must go from the hair roots to ends.  If you have fine short hair, it will take a week, if you have curly hair, it takes 3-4 weeks.
